@willer I really don't like the RIAA, but if a single reseller had total price control on my products, I'd be looking for other options too.

@willer They don't even HAVE THE OPTION of selling selected tracks to Apple for less, short of refusing to cash Apple's checks.

@willer Apple won't negotiate on price at all. They set a single rate for playing record companies for all tracks -- take it or leave it.

@willer Apple set a single fixed price for all tracks. Amazon offers different price points, so many tracks are cheaper. Seems fair to me.

@codinghorror Not only that, but Amazon has some 99c tracks, too. It's called variable pricing, and Apple flatly refused to offer it.

@codinghorror -- great piece on DRM. It kills me when people argue Amazon 89c songs are unfair when it's Apple that enforces fixed pricing.

@DevHawk That's all up and running and kicks ass. What I have left is to do the same thing with classes that can contain methods and vars.

@DevHawk We put this into an data structure, and use F# to emit the python fxns when there's a body, or proxy fxns to a callback otherwise.

@DevHawk and it either contains a python body stored as a string, or a reference to another piece of code in our app. ...

@DevHawk we have a working piece that deals with functions: we store a function name and a set of named parameters in metadata...

@DevHawk I have a bad habit of not writing cool things up, but this would be a fun writeup, so hopefully I will. I'll let you know.

Spurs-Hornets is tight in the first quarter. Spurs must play better than in the 2nd half of Game 1, or they'll be watching the finals on TV.

The C# code template examples look pretty tight. The hard part will be selling it to coders who have had their minds warped by Intellisense.

The code template system still needs a name, though. :-|
