Rick also said that he did not misquote Byerly on water tax. It was based on Gainesville Sun editorial by Byerly. Uh oh.
Byerly says he's willing to consider some consolidation if there is cost efficiency and no loss in service. Has he done this in 8 years?
Question: do you support unification of city and county services?
Rick said that when the economy is bad, it isn't the time to look at additional fees on citizens.
Byerly is trying to defend the charge that he proposed the concept of a water tax.
