Just experienced the value of Time Machine. Restored my Mail preferences and all my stuff is back. Yay! Now for soup...

Computer unexpectedly quit today - now, opening Mail shows a "new" program w/set up prompts (I ignore) & then nuttin'. Library/Mail exists.
