Going to lock myself in a room and write until bed. Unlike Anne Zelenka, I'm not great with 'bursty work', so I'll see you all tomorrow! :)

@remarkablogger: but twitteriffic is so pretty :-P.
@panache you made this message possible ;-)
How do I do @ messages to people when I can only see their real names? Using twitteriffic.
I love having guest-posts on Anywired. The first time you get a good one it's like... wow, did I think nobody could do what I do?
@justjess: I'm getting pretty good at the expose thing. I keep doing it unnecessarily just because it looks cool :-P.
@patriciamayo: skimming? not acceptable ;-).
@khalidh: I'm discovering that I use it about once every five seconds. I think I must be a scraper in disguise ;).
@darrenrowse: glad you liked the post :)
@jonphillips: yeah -- taking a forced pc holiday :). I'm actually enjoying it, but the 512 memory is a killer...
Copy/Paste such a little thing, one of the stickiest obstacles to getting used to a mac. Makes you realize how much you use it...
Mkay, off to watch the soccer. Wish us luck!
Knowing an editor is going to go through your work is a really nice feeling: like writing with a safety net. You can try crazy stuff.
I've decided to use the first names of some of my oldest blog readers in the book as hypotheticals. It'll be a nice touch if they notice.
@lane: thank you! it looks like it took forever to write, but it was actually pretty painless and fun.
@shankar ganesh: i hear you on that one!
It's the whole turtle/hare thing. You can be pretty slow at work, but if you work instead of procrastinating, you'll be faster than most.
I think the one true productivity mantra is to stop procrastinating. If we just did everything we were sposed to do, it'd get done.
Going to write until 3pm, then heading to the Peacock to watch Aus vs. China. Neat reward for 40 mins work :-).
Just read that Leo Babauta finished a chapter of his book in 2hrs. If that isn't a kick up the bum to write, I don't know what is!
