Converting myself from Baghdad time to California time is turning out to be harder than I thought.

Chilling in Cali. Damn good to be back in the States. Though still trying to get used to the 10 hour difference. Yeah, it's 4:15 am.

Just had an end of deployment "party", where we were just an audience for the leaders to stroke each other's egos with plaques and awards.

Calling it a night. Only a few more weeks of sleeping in a can.

My conclusion: IT in the Marine Corps is an oxymoron.
