I am utterly frustrated. My mixer is still not working with a straight USB input. Google reveals many angry customers. Apple are useless.

I think I've fixed the Alesis / Mac USB mixer. There's a problem with all mac usb mixer input and lepoard. Updates on the net.

The only way I am going to get a decent sound is to record my audio in WAV on an external device and import it in. What a ridiculous faff.

Funny how Apple Mail (as irritating as it is self congratulatory) always bigs itself up. Sad.

I would give Apple a 2/10 for the audio and usability. Very little you can do in preferences. Don't even bother trying to fix a line in....

The MacBook looks nice, the graphics are nice.. the audio is exceptionally low grade compared to any pc I've worked with. Very unimpressed.

I've had to scratch around a dozen takes of podcasts as the mixer seems so horribly incompatible. It works exceptionally well with any pc.

can someone please tell me why MacBooks are so crap? The audio is shocking, shocking, shocking. My USB mixer hates this machine
