A room full of Drupal devs eager to start code sprinting, and less than half have Internet connectivity. FAIL!

Someone mentioned never having seen a 12-year old own an entire room of 200 adults like Dmitri did. It gives him hope for the future.
Some live demos would work a lot better as a highly-edited screencast. It's a tricky problem to emulate iterating settings, but can be done.
KarenS was kind enough to export all of her CCK & Views examples that she's going through in her site recipe: http://tinyurl.com/yp7e7y
I'm on the left hand side of the Drupalcon photo: http://www.flickr.com/photo... -- Dmitri's above the "B"
GHOP student Jimmy Berry aka boombatower did some great work with the Click Heatmaps module & wrote 1/2 of Drupal core's SimpleTests. Rock!
Each js library has it's own unit test suite & it now allows javacript developers to have the upper hand against browsers & their bugs
pingVision has grown to 16 ppl & is growing. They're finding a niche w/ developing for Green websites who are coming to them.
bdragon & the folks at ChicagoTech.org are doing lots of great work with mapping w/ the GMap & location modules.
Whoa. The next jQuery is going to be almost 2x faster & smaller using Xpath selectors. Codename Sizzie coming soon.
jQuery got a grant from Mozilla for full-ARIA support, which allows the javascript layer to communicate to screenreaders for accessibility.
I'm always surprised to see rockstar Drupal-ers using PCs: chx, merlinofchaos, bjaspan, starbow, crell, douggreen and probably more.
Interesting tidbit: Tao Starbow used SimpleTests while developing Drupal's AHAH framework: http://tinyurl.com/34yelc
John Resig's has an interesting live demo style is of typing jQuery stub code into an overly zoomed in Keynote presentation slide.
Simplicity of the APIs over everything else is the biggest key to jQuery's success. More plug-ins to choose from b/c its small & extensible.
Matt's favorite interview questions for a dev: "Have you ever used hook_form_alter()? And "Have you ever created a template.php.tpl file?"
Matt's finished his slides early and is doing a heck of job facilitating a discussion re: building community w/ ppl sharing best practices.
Dries, starbow & quicksketch & others were all rockin' the modal dialogs in the last BoF. Soon no more loosing form data w/o saving it first
All of the real work at Drupalcon is happening in the BoF sessions. Modal Pop-ups, Semantic RDF, Knight Foundation & Drupal Pipes. Intense.
Just talking w/ @dmitrig01 who is analyzing all of Drupal's functions w/ PHP's tokenizer attempting to automate writing code for unit tests.
