@evelopez New cities can be exciting, although DC area isn't new to me. basically moving back to a city I lived in for 15 years. Still good!

@LilPecan Yep, at least 3 places I looked it had monthly pet rent. seems ridiculous. I understand the deposit/fee, but $35 rent per kitty?

Apartments charging pet rent, in addition to pet deposit. $35/pet/month. Need to get the kitties employment to pay their share.
