@simplyloretta what struck me was the guys doing the harassing were clean-cut. The guy who diffused the situation, anything but. Unexpected.

It was scary at the time. I am newly renewing my belief that you can't judge a book by its cover. I had forgotten that lesson.

Tonight on the subway 3 men were bullying another man. A drunk guy stepped in & completely diffused the situation before security arrived.

okay, now no cellphone service. What's going on? I don't even know what affects cell network access. OTOH still smells doggy in here :-P
