Just passed 2,000 updates and 500 followers. Thanks to everyone, especially those who helped tonight with my train plans.
@Matt_Z There's a direct to Newark, but not to the Newark Airport. I'm wondering if it's not safer to go direct and find a way to airport.
I would have exactly 11 minutes to transfer trains at the Philadelphia station. I'm a rookie...Is that too close of a call? No big deal?
@CurlieMeg Solo, but do you know Amy from CD? She's in Tokyo and is letting me stay with her. I'll go off on my own while she works.
@CurlieMeg I'm looking at March 13-27. Two weeks in Japan is the plan.
It's a clear consensus that I should take the train to Newark. I didn't realize it went right to the airport. Thanks everyone.
@sarabozich That's the plan I hatched right after sending that Tweet. $90 round trip. Me likey.
@jenocal No bus from my town to Newark, but Amtrak is an option. That's only $45 one-way. Hmmm.
Thinking of driving to Newark to save money on an overseas flight. Long-term parking at the airport is crazy expensive, though. Any ideas?
@selfmadepsyche I set one up, and found the forum to be clunky, difficult to scan. Overall pretty decent, though.
@briannepruitt I suspect life will go on. I was also pretty cold. I guess we don't talk enough about Obama and iPhones.
@briannepruitt It has you listed as the Coldest right now. You're the exact opposite of Barack Obama. How's that feel?
My paper (Harrisburg Patriot-News) is still searching for a political reporter. It's a pretty good position. http://is.gd/7YXh
@Dani_PA Haven't seen the paper, but I don't think so. I think I overreacted...sorry to get people excited.
Ignoring and ridiculing modern baseball stats equates perfectly with the no-change, way-it's-always-been-done mess newspapers are in.
Reading Howard-Pujols columns makes me really mourn the tragic, loss of Fire Joe Morgan. Stunningly anti-intellectual crap in our papers.
@EdGrohl Dan Patrick made the point: How can McNabb not know there are ties when he played that 9-6-1 team in the playoffs?
I can sorta forgive the Eagles for sucking. BUT LEARN BASIC NFL RULES THAT EVERY FAN KNOWS, PLEASE. http://is.gd/7TLu
@jak440 I could do after 7 today or tomorrow. And what Iowa debacle? Are you referring to a sporting event I've blocked from my memory?
@jak440 Just realized I mixed up the Pujols argument. Meant to say he was wrong in 06 when he said it should go to a playoff player.
