Excitement/disappointment. Received my cool Threadless t-shirt, but it was defective (big spot on the back). DOH! Now I have to wait again.
I think our cab driver has NASCAR aspirations. But we sure did get home fast.
Back home in Seattle.
On the plane to Seattle. So many crying infants. Can we vote on a one-child policy referendum next election? Just kidding! Kinda. :)
Landed in Dallas. Next stop Seattle.
"Please report anything unusual to Airport Security." Like the airport policeman riding around on his bicycle in the gate area?
Got most of the things I needed to do today done, at least the important ones. Now at Memphis airport waiting for our flight to Dallas.
Trying to get stuff done before heading back to Seattle. Chopped down a shrub that became a tree while we were away.
Up in the middle of the night doing some more cleaning up of my very messy office, but some progress has been made. Back to sleep.
Not so hot on Tuesday's NYT Crossword; 6:17 is only good enough for 55th of the first 206.
Had good pizza and icy beers at Broadway Pizza in "exotic" Binghampton (seen frequently on A&E's First 48) with Joelle, David, and Dr D.
Oddity of the day: while leaving Sekisui Collierville, I saw a car that crashed into the side of a liquor store nearby.
Did some organizing, had lunch with Karen at Sekisui, and caught up with Clay Smythe.
Finished the easy Monday NYT Crossword in 4:12, good enough to place 76th of the 1st 705 to finish.
Another annoying bureaucratic visit to INS with no resolution. DOH!
Hoping auto bailout doesn't occur because I fear it will be a giveaway to ineffective management and will save few manufacturing jobs.
Up bright and early this morning. OK, up early this morning.
Got an early dinner at Huey's, and getting to sleep early.
Had lunch with my mother and my sister and her family at New Asia.
I don't find ventriloquists to be funny/entertaining. It's a cool skill, but not that fun to watch. Am I missing something?
