Also heard that REI is removing their in-store climbing walls except for the flagship Seattle store - liability purposes. Bummer.

No Dick's climbing wall today; it's only open Fri-Sun but is $3/kid. I'll take that over $51 to look at plastic bricks any day.

Whoa. Local REI has a 'build your own climbing wall" clinic in December.

Today: another trip to the dentist with a side trip to Dick's Sporting Goods rock climbing wall + Nikwax to waterproof old snow pants.

Went & bought: 2 pair of snow boots, 1 winter parka, & 1 pair of snowpants for what we'd have spent touring Legoland. (Target/Kohl's FTW!)
