No sooner has one round of project grants been decided than the next begins - expecting a deluge of new applications on Monday morning.

All the projects have been discussed and the money allocated. In total, 25 new cancer research projects will be funded. Now the work begins!

The Committee is still working its way through the projects up for discussion today - hard work but very interesting.

Final preparations for Scientific Advisory Committee meeting in Edinburgh on Thursday. We'll be allocating over £4m to new cancer projects.
