Three WAY too controversial and divisive topics you should never, EVER discuss on the 'net: Religion. Politics. The "Monty Hall" problem.

@guywithabike Okay, good point. :) But usually, it signals "Open Mic Night at the Chuckle Hut in Dover, Delaware."
@timeyles Because "The Simpsons" goes beyond "Homer is a stupid, insensitive jerk" and tries for "...and here's why Marge loves him anyway:"
@bynkii Comedy? I think I've seen a line like that in a Terms Of Service agreement. :)
@greggscott "Simpsons," "South Park" and "Venture Brothers" do things that are DIFFICULT. "Bart Sells His Soul" was a HUGE creative risk.
Standing in front of a comedy audience and doing a bunch of fart, sex, pedophile, violence & gay jokes is as safe and easy as comedy gets.
@John_Muir I do think Seth McFarlane has exactly the right response to critics like me: "I understand what our audience likes. You don't."
@greggscott - I just don't see FG writers taking many risks, or working very hard to get things just right. One personal opinion, of course.
@John_Muir I wish they'd do the "Family Guy" podcast again! It was always entertaining. Great behind-the-scenes stuff.
The _writing_ on "Family Guy" might be cheap, cynical and lazy, but the show's animators are clearly people who work hard and have fun.
Do you think Michael Palin is sick of jokey friends sending him US headline clippings yet? ("Palin describes self as 'Bulldog In Lipstick'")
@rstevens I haven't been to O'Rourke's since before the fire. It's definitely the "Lunch" stop on the Triple Crown.
@blankbaby When I set off on the New England Diner Triple Crown, I'll post the itinerary and invite all interested Twitterers to join me!
And I proudly say that I got to 10K honestly: not once did I stump for Followers, apart from simply mentioning my ID on occasion.
10,000 followers! You know what this means, don't you? Twitter sends me on...A THREE-STATE DINER ROADTRIP!!! (♫ "Price Is Right" theme ♫) ...
It's been a while since I reminded you to tell somebody you love them. Isn't today a great day to make some phone calls?
@vigilant Why continue to write posts for a site that was broken?
@dnanian Me, too! I launched Ecto and MarsEdit for the first time in months and immediately found 14 posts-in-progress from April!
I am going to a diner for strawberry pancakes. I am close to another free breakfast, but technically, this one has nothing to do w/Twitter.
@dpopeck Absolutely...thanks!
